Mobile Apps - Alternative to tmail

Is there any alternative to tmail as the email client in WM6.1? I
have googled, but come up empty. I have an HTC Touch Pro and using
TouchFLO3D, it offers a different view of my mail using a 3D look, but
is this a different email view or still tied to tmail.exe? I have
many instances where messaging (classic list style of tmail.exe) will not
open and I have to soft-reset to use it again and I am looking for
something more stable and/or different features. If there is an
alternative, can it be set to be the default email client as well?

TIA,
Randy

Flexmail is a good product, and much more robust than tmail. However, it does
not integrate with TouchFLO3D. You will have to run it from the Start menu or
create a button on your program screen to launch it. It has a Today Screen
plugin that lists your accounts and the number of new messages in each one.

Plugin for Pocket Outlook . . . Mobile Apps Hi, I was trying to find a way to write a plugin for Pocket outlook. After going through msdn and googling much, I am not clear that where to start from. There is much-much less information available for Pocket Outlook Plugin as opposed to Outlook plugin. The only thing I found on the web is "Emansio" which calls itself a Pocket Outlook Plugin. For now, I want to know, Where to start with in order to write a Pocket Outlook Plugin? Any reference or techincal sample would be greate. If any one knows, can you please help. Thanks, *(Vipul)() ; PocketPC Discussions Outlook (1) Emansio (1) Plugin (1) Techincal (1) Subset (1) How exactly do you want to plug into Pocket Outlook 24x7 would consume system resources on the device, I feel why not to write a plugin that will do the detection stuff only when the Pocket Outlook is loaded. Thoughts? Thanks
ANN: FlexMail Rev 2 brings full IMAP Push to all Pocket PC and Smartphones! Mobile Apps Just wanted to let you know about FlexMail 2007 Rev 2 being released for Windows Mobile Smartphone and Pocket PCs! It brings full HTML email support, Mail Rules, Windows Mobile 6 support and more! This is a new FlexMail in more ways than ever before. Enough about marketing though - I'd like to write to you about a legacy that FlexMail has had and give you an open and honest response FlexMail has always been a leader in email features on Windows Mobile, but we always seemed to have just one major issue that defined a release. When we designed FlexMail we saw that people wanted FlexMail integrated into their systems - they did not want the built in Messaging to show up Pocket Informant was always successful in this, but we found that for FlexMail we had to go further. In testing this worked fine but in the real world
tmail having "restless leg syndrome" on cradle event Mobile Apps Hi guys, I have a custom transport dll loadable by tmail.exe. The problem I have is that any time I cradle / uncradle the device, tmail unload then reload it (call IMailSyncHandler::Release() till refcount = = 0 then unload the dll). I tried to return FALSE for the capability kszCapSyncOnDockEvent hopping that this will make tmail not to unload it. But doesn't work. I tried countless idea, going even to regardless of me keeping all the threads running. That spell Katrina :-) Questions: 1. Does actually tmail terminate itself and being restarted any time when the device cradle state change, or it help at all. Does anyone have any clue of what is going on ? How is tmail informed now by cradle / uncradle events ?
