SD card driver

Asked By Clearco

Hi All,

I am trying to get SD card working on Windows CE 5.0.
I cannot see the appropriate folder appearing ("Storage Card").
So I was trying to debug the driver to spot the problem.
The result is:
the driver is correctly loaded
(I can see the expected "DSK" notification by using
RequestDeviceNotifications),
but the folder is still missing.
Here is my registry settings:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\SDMemory]
;"PartitionDriver"="" ; removable storage cannot have
partitions

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\SDMemory_Class]
per bus transfer

I have no idea about how should I continue the debug...
any clue to continue the search?

Thanks in advance

Filippo

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, the card is formatted.
I can see its content on another WinCe device

Have you included a file system compatible with whatever is on the card?
Can you use the Storage Manager in the control panel to see/manage the
device?

I confirm: it was a problem related to hardware.
